Our playfully illustrated products — inspired by resilient women, perpetual daydreamers and cautious optimists — are designed and packaged by hand in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with lots of love and attention to detail. About Founder: Theresa Berens is the designer, illustrator, shipper, warehouse manager and reluctant bookkeeper behind Boss Dotty, a labour of love that would not be possible without pop-in help from a wildly supportive band of family and friends in Brooklyn and Nebraska. Her creative, independent and resilient grandmother Dorothy is Boss Dotty’s namesake. Boss Dotty products have appeared in more than 650 stores worldwide — in boutiques, museums, and bookstores including The Strand, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and The Whitney Museum Shop — and with national and international retailers including Urban Outfitters, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Barnes & Noble and Paper Source.
