The concept for Buccarello Jewellery was created back in the summer of 2014, when our founder, Sofia, started selling jewellery in a small coastal market in Southern Italy. Sofia would continue to return and sell her products there every summer after school, after exams and even after University classes. During her time at University, Sofia studied fashion business and history, which inspired her to turn her passion for jewellery into a full-time career. This led Sofia to start creating and designing her own semi-fine jewellery; searching for new materials to use such as lustrous pearls and faceted stones. After a few years of selling at the market stall, Sofia built up a list of returning customers (some even turned into friends) and created a close-knit community of loyal fans. It was these customers that motivated her to keep designing and crafting jewellery and push forward with her vision. Buccarello Jewellery offers pieces that embodies a strong femininity and often characterised by asymmetry: a celebration of a woman multifaceted strengths.
