KORK - KYRGZSTAN - In 1996 Gulnara Kyrdyrmyshova incorporated “Kork, Fiber Art Group.” At that time many artists faced unemployment and required a place to express their talents. Kydyrmyshova recognized this and quickly organized “Kork, Fiber Art Group” to provide local artists with an outlet to sell their works. OUR MISSION - To support and develop traditional crafting techniques on products with a fun, modern touch. OUR VISION - We work with artisan groups to build sustainable livelihoods for craftspeople in marginalised regions. 100% NATURAL - Using natural fibers and eco-friendly resources, we work with our artisans to produce handcrafted products in Kyrgyzstan.
