Lhamour is Mongolia’s first organic skincare brand, based on the foundation of love. Our purpose is to nurture and encourage the power of love through our hand-made, natural, eco-friendly skincare products. We produce more than 70 products - ranging from body care, hair care to face care and combine Mongolian nomadic traditional remedies with modern innovation. People with dry skin who are health conscious and care about the environment are the ones that love us the most. Lhamour is built on the foundation of rich and premium ingredients. Our super power ingredients are for example wild sea buckthorn, rose hip, nettle, pure yak’s milk, goat’s milk and organic flaxseed. Ethical and sustainable sourcing is at the heart of Lhamour. We source our raw materials responsibly from small family owned farms. By building partnerships with local farms, we ensure that we give back to the local community. We are able to minimize our production waste through various recycling and reuse programs. In addition, no part of the ingredients goes to waste and every raw material becomes an end product. Also, one important aspect for us is to encourage and empower girls and women. We started helping others as well. Did an event for Women in Business to support existing female led companies and also organized Women Entrepreneurship Day in Mongolia, where we inspired and motivated girls and women to start their own businesses. We helped girls appreciate STEM and supported their careers and also launched a program called “Finding your Passion” where we helped teenagers find their true self and helped them on their career planning. We raised awareness about environmental issues and about how to be eco-friendly both for companies as well as at home. We were the first ones to commercialize recycled paper and also started Mongolia’s first zero waste corner where customers can come with their own bottles and get their loved products refilled with a discount. At the end of the day, we are all just guests on earth and we hope to spread as much love and care for the environment as possible. Soon enough, we were featured in Vogue, Forbes, NHK World, Deutsche Welle, China Daily, and Bloomberg. We got some amazing awards from Switzerland, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Mongolia and became TOP 100 in the Global Entrepreneurship World Cup. In fact, we got the award for sustainable cosmetic product from Japan, which was a great honor as Japan has one of the highest standards in the skincare industry. So, being a small Mongolian start-up and becoming recognized for our efforts not just to help people’s skin but also help make the community better was just incredible.
